The Wilbraham Summer Youth Theatre is truly a unique experience in the theatre. Not only do kids experience doing a show together, but they experience working in companies, living and growing as a team, and playing as much as working. WSYT doesn't strive to put on a 'kid's show,' but instead strives to create a production worthy of any community theatre, youth or adult. This is a place where kids can forget their differences, forget their inhibitions, and come together to create one amazing show.
One of the best things about WSYT is that everybody is welcome. You can join WSYT without ever stepping foot on stage and after just a few short months, you've improved dramatically and feel like you've really accomplished something great.

My favorite part about WSYT is how I can build up confidence about myself, and I found many new friends who share my interests.
I like workshops because we play fun games!
Sean C. (WSYTeer 2001-2006)
At the end of the summer, all the hard work produces a great show, but also a close knit family as well. I learn so much at WSYT that will be valuable in the future. I know that no matter what happens in my life, it doesn't matter at WSYT.
Lindsay A. (WSYTeer 2001-2006)
I love WSYT because I see all my friends and make new friends. I have lots of fun on stage, and the feeling of people clapping for your had work is a feeling you can't describe, and WSYT can give that to you.
Anthony Y. (Junior WSYTeer 2000-2003, WSYTeer 2004-present)
Every year WSYT had a way of always being very unique and different, yet always had the same feeling to it. None of us alum will ever forget what happened there. ... Do it. Do WSYT. You will never regret it. It teaches you how to be a part of the theatre. Oh, yeah---the directors ain't half bad, neither.
